Background

The Palladium is a commercial office building in downtown Milwaukee that Hammes developed and continues to own. The neo-classical architectural inspiration is expressed through a copper-clad dome and a colonnaded motor court that distinguish the building within the downtown skyline.

Challenge

The Palladium program required a phased development approach — completing a fully functional first phase while leaving the architectural and infrastructure foundation for a seamless future Phase Two carry-over.

Solution

Hammes served as both developer and ongoing owner of the Palladium. Phase One was completed in 2019, with a second phase thoughtfully designed to result in a seamless carry-over from Phase I.

Project components include commercial office, an integrated 360-stall parking structure, a fitness center, and a café.
