Milwaukee Center is an iconic mixed-use development located in the heart of downtown Milwaukee along the Milwaukee River.
The Milwaukee Center program integrated a modern 28-story office tower and 220-room hotel with the historic Pabst Theatre and Milwaukee Repertory Theatre — requiring coordinated downtown development that respected the riverfront and the surrounding historic architecture.
Hammes was the developer for the iconic Milwaukee Center located in the heart of downtown Milwaukee along the Milwaukee River. The 28-story office building and 220-room hotel features an 800-stall underground parking garage. A Hammes-built galleria links the hotel and office space to the Pabst Theatre and the Milwaukee Repertory Theatre. The project, completed in 1988, was developed in partnership with the City of Milwaukee.
