Jon Hammes

Jon Hammes is the founder and Chairman of the Hammes platform and a Managing Principal and Investment Committee member of Hammes Partners.

Jon founded Hammes in 1991 and launched Hammes Healthcare in 1993 to apply his extensive management and real estate experience to the healthcare sector. Prior to forming the Hammes platform, Jon was a Managing Partner at Trammell Crow Company.  

Jon serves as Trustee and Past Chair of the Medical College of Wisconsin. Jon also serves as an Emeriti Trustee of Marquette University and a Board Member for the Global War on Terrorism Memorial Foundation. He previously served as Director of the University of Wisconsin Foundation and Director and Chair of the State of Wisconsin Investment Board. Jon is also a Board Member for the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce.

He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Master of Science in Real Estate and Investment Analysis from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
