Hammes Healthcare breaks ground on BHSH Spectrum Health West Michigan Ambulatory Care Building in Grand Rapids

Milwaukee, WI, July 27, 2022 – Hammes Healthcare, a leading provider of consulting and project management services, broke ground on a new ambulatory care building for Spectrum Health in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan on July 20.

Spectrum Health engaged Hammes as owner’s representative for the new 12-story, 240,000-square-foot ambulatory care building that will include both clinical and educational training space. The new facility will bring primary and specialty care closer to patients in West Michigan from a single, convenient location. It will include a simulation center where physicians will have access to experiential learning and innovative, hands-on training aimed at improving patient safety and outcomes. The building is expected to open in the summer of 2024.
